Beta Iota Omicron
The main purpose of this organization is to promote the enjoyment of the biological sciences through community service, events and discussions. It is open to anyone who is interested in biological sciences and not limited to Biology majors. Our major events of the year include: Adopt-A-Stream, Mr. Irresistible, Big Sweep, trips to the NC Zoo, Science Olympiad, Peer Tutoring, Biology Department Seminars, as well as many other social and community service projects. Each meeting is interactive and may include discussions, guest speakers, or games.
